Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny 3 February 1950) is an American actress. The 1980s were when she became a household name through her performances on several television series. Her fame was for acting as a glamorous woman. Fairchild's professional career began in 1973 when she played Jennifer Pace on the CBS soap opera Search for Tomorrow. She appeared as Jenna Wade in 1978, being the first actress who was able to do so. The following year, she was the role as Jenna Wade in Flamingo Road (NBC), in which she was awarded a Golden Globe Award nomination for the Best Actress - Television Series Drama. The co-star was on ABC on the soap Paper Dolls which ran from 1984. Later, she performed the role of Jordan Roberts in Falcon Crest from 1985 to 1986. Fairchild is also an actor on stage, having appeared in TV comedies such as Murphy Brown, for which she earned a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Star on a Comedy Series.
